About
A bit about me
I remember the first tentative pages of Greywolf. He was my hero, a sarcastic shabbily dressed Native with a pet skunk who just may be the Algonqiun diety Nanbush. Times had changed for him and being part human (born of a woman and The West Wind) he liked to mix with humans. But there were to many now. So he had to find a way to keep a low profile and hide out until his master plan for the human race came to fruition.
In order to do this and he hid out in a small town called Hooper (found ) on no map and had immense fun playing pranks on the citizens of the archaic town with his preternatural abilities.
The History or Story Behind My Site
Of course one thing leads to another and it was not long until The Hooper Clarion was concieved. The Clarion is , as one might guess the newsletter (news paper) published in Greywolfs town. It features satire, fun a a bit of serious reporting. Mostly though, it is written by The Citizens of Hooper, the outlandish characters that G.W. rubs shoulder with every day.
Folks such as Cyrus Williams the chicken rancher Who is alwys beset by chicken rustlers.
Henry (flash) Pritchard, who always looses his camera.
Father O'Hallahan, whose best (and only) friend is Fast Ed the used car salesman.
The accident prone Officer Calhoun.
Doc Ramsey who supplies medical aid to Hooperites and their pets.
and
Sam, the editor of The Hooper Clarion, a man who only likes himself.
Origins a Reader
Origins a Reader came about as a way for me to publish my stories (in my on publication). Yet when I had completed the first issue I realized that Greywolf did not fit in well. He needed his own publication. He was just too much of a distraction for the other authors stories. Thus with the help from a friend and her adventure stories Greywolfs Fireside Tales came into being.
